This centre has been built thanks to a Solidarity Fund set up and promoted by Confindustria, CGIL, Cisl and Uil for the populations, workers and production systems hit by the earthquake that struck Emilia region in 2012, in order to develop projects with functional, architectural, technological quality, sustainability and energy efficiency. It has been constructed in order to give new life to a residual area in the municipality of Quistello, abandoned for a long time.
A gathering place dedicated to young people and to the life of the community. A single-storey volume with a 300-square-metre surface consisting of two main spaces for the activities and open to companies, private citizens and young graduates, as well as smaller spaces for utility rooms.
Carried out through a system of curtain walls divided into sectors and externally protected from solar irradiation by blinds, the curved glass skin generates a strong visual connection with the outside and with the design of the park.
